You seem to be asking your question wrong you can not get your printer to print anything but you have ink?

Are you sure you're selecting the correct printer? Sometimes a computer will attempt to send a document to a non-existent or a former printer.
(assuming windows)
Go to Control Panel then Printers, it may be "Printers and Faxes", depending on your system. Check which printer is 'default'. The default printer will have a check mark by it. If the wrong printer is selected as default, "right click" on the correct printer and then select the option, "set as default printer".
If you don't find your printer in the list, you may need to install it using the manufacturers installation software, or you may need to find a "driver" over the internet.
