it depends on your body, i stopped taking b.c. after taking it for 3 years and my periods were more normal than they were on b.c. but i forgot to take it sometimes. i don't like b.c. because it makes me gain weight.
Yes. I was on Depo for approximately 10 years with NO period and then to the pill for about a year with controlled periods. I have since stopped taking ANY type of birth control and have had long 2 week periods and even two full periods a month. It will eventually regulate if not ask Dr. about Provera.
For me it is. But if you continue to have heavy periods and if you did not have heavy periods before you started your pill then you should see your OBGYN. Good luck and God Bless:)
you are supposed to begin taking cilest on the first day of your period. Then you are protected from day one.
Yes, this is completely normal. While on the pill your menstrual cycle was suppressed, coming off the pill your body has to adjust to ovulating and menstruation regularly again - it's a little like starting your periods all over again. It can take up to 12 months for your cycles to regulate again.
Yes ... a lot of people will have their periods completely stop while on Depo. It is considered a normal side effect of the shot.
I assume you are taking the pill like yasmin or something to that effect. I can honestly say that when you are taking a birth control, it is normal for it to regulate your periods, but honestly, sometimes nature comes before any chemical you can treat it. So if you think this is a major side effect, talk to your dr. If not, go with the flow. No pun intended.
stop taking the pill and see your dr about the mood swings
It is normal to have light periods or no period at all while birth control.
There are no known food-birth control pill interactions, neither for birth control nor menstrual control use.
Just continue taking your pills as normal.
After beginning Yasmin, the pill can regulate your periods. Yasmin is normally a birth control pill that is used to prevent pregnancy.
yes it is normal. I was late when I first started too. Just wait it out, but if you dont have it after 2 months, i would call your OBGYN
