Yes, it can be faulty. Some damaged power supplies show good output voltages on the voltage range of a multimeter but, when you connect them, they don't work properly.
One possible reason is that maybe an IC in its voltage regulator has a high resistance between the common and the output. You cannot see this by shunting a voltmeter onto it. You have to place a typical load onto the output to test it.
They measure the location of a point north/south of the equator. So ? Have you ever seen a police line-up on TV ? The lines on the background go left and right, but they measure the suspect's height, right ?
The noun suspect is a person considered guilty of a crime, or a cause of other types of situations. Examples: The police have identified a suspect in the crime. A faulty joint is the main suspect for this leak.
For diamonds, carat is the weight. I suspect that your 1.0 stone is a 1 carat stone. Milliliters (ml) is a measure of liquid volume, which doesn't apply to diamonds, since they are not liquid.

Earth is, so far, the only place in the solar system known to have liquid water on the surface. We have begun to suspect that Jupiter's moon Europa may have vast amounts of liquid water trapped beneath a miles-thick sheet of ice. It is at least theoretically possible that some forms of life may be possible there.
Just replace the battery if you suspect it is low.
I suspect that it is possible that it will rain soon.
That doesn't seem very practical. Of course, you can check for voltages between different parts of the skin. However, (1) I suspect that much of the electricity in the human body would be on the inside - inaccessible for a normal multimeter. (2) Since you are talking about "energy", please note that most of the energy in our body will not be in the form of electricity. There are other types of energy.
It can be fatal; if you suspect you have it, get to a doctor as soon as possible.
The suspect in the same case he is prosecuting? It might make a good plot for a fiction book and technically it IS possible, but I seriously doubt it.
YES it is possible. Option 1: Take a pregnancy test. Option 2: Go to your doctor!
Twenty-ten or two thousand and ten are both acceptable. ____________________________ The consensus seems to be "Twenty-Ten". I suspect that this will be a matter of discussion for another 12 months.
Synonyms: suppose, imagine, suspect, predict, believe, speculate Antonyms: measure, calculate
I believe it is water and life.

Easiest way is to pull a suspect fuse and visually inspect it. If a fuse is blown, the "wire" that runs from one end to the other will be burned out or completely missing. Best way to test fuses are with a continuity checker of a good multimeter.
One technology that made skyscrapers possible would be the elevator. The other, I suspect is structural steel.
