You take pictures of messages by holding the lock button and home button at the same time then go to your pictures and you will see it is there it also works for the iphone and ipodtouch?

Well if you were pressing any buttons at the time, you may have put it into DFU mode. You do this by holding the home button and the power button at the same time for 10 seconds. To get it out of DFU mode, do the same. If you weren't pressing buttons, the battery probably died. What you do is click the turn on/off button and the home button at the same time. When you do that check your photos. If there is a picture of the whole screen that the picture was on, just zoom in on the picture and then do the two button click again.
