To start off, if you are willing to accept the responsibilities that goes with a pregnant cat and kittens then prepare a private, quiet, comfortable space for her to have and raise her kittens in (like a closet). Start buying cat food made for pregnant cats, exercise her (but don't overdo it!), and keep her healthy and happy. When the kittens are born, be sure to have blankets ready and people who will be willing to adopt them. Note: If you wish that your cat have no more kittens, get her neutered. Xox, Smartiiz.

Feed mother cat wet food (as much as she wants) and keep her inside the house until her kittens are born and weaned. A expecting queen will most likely get very clingy and will want attention and comfort from you much more than usual. Be sure to take her to the vets regularly to check up on the queen's health and the unborn litter.

Prepare a birthing box in a quiet room. Line this with lots of towels and blankets. The expecting mother, just before she gives birth, will start to nest in this box. Make sure your vet is available at the time of the birth, as the birth of the litter is a risky time and there is a chance of things going wrong. Your vet will able to help you a great deal during the pregnancy and after the birth, so consult with your vet if you need extra advise.

Once the kittens are weaned, it would be ideal to spay the mother for the sake of her health. Some cats can and do come back into heat as soon as the kittens are weaned, or even earlier, which puts a huge toll on the cat's health.

Find out for sure if she is pregnant, if so then decide if you want kittens and if you don't ask your vet to take the kittens out, and if you do want kittens, try to keep her nutrition up, she needs to eat more than normal and try not to let her get up to high places since she might fall. when she is ready to have the kittens, you will be able to tell by watching her stomach for contractions, they will look like her fur is rippling, give her a comfortable place for her to give birth such as a basket lined with an old blanket(towels work too) and put it in a quiet, private place and assistance will probably be needed if this is her first time, otherwise leave her alone unless she tries to follow you out of the room or shows signs of wanting you to stay, when all of the kittens are born you should feed and water your cat. Keep other animals away from her because tomcats eat kittens, other females get jealous, and dogs would usually make her nervous.
