If your carb leaks because the moter is that slanted, then your moter mounts are totally f--- upped! Some CJ5`s came with v8`s as an option so you should be able to find the correct mounts in a junk yard. They are very common.
the floats in carb are sticking.remove carb and clean out carb replace float needle.
Sounds like you still have carb issues. You say you soaked the carb, was the carb disassembled, parts soaked, cleaned, and reassembled with a carb rebuild kit? If not, that is what you need to do.
when you buy a rebuild kit for it it should have instructions, very simple carb to rebuild.

get a chiltons repair manual from the library for your year dodge.
Dirt in the carb or carb out of adjustment or both.
most 225 slant 6's were 1 bbl's unless it was the super six and it had a 2 bbl.
if you got a carb rebuild kit most of them have the tolerances in them. if not there are maunals on that motor on eBay for that year motor

there should never be oil in the carb. if there is then you have a problem. have you tipped the motor on its side on the carb side?
If you are referring to leaking out of one of the overflow hoses, your float is sticking. If it is leaking from the body of the carb, the gasket where the carb and float bowl bolt together needs to be replaced.
