whats a upright harrison piano worth
We have a musette player piano and it works as a regular piano. If you want to use the player portion, on ours you open the back panel behind the pedals, pull down the foot pumps and pedal away.
there are many ways if u dont want ot be able to reasmble it afterwards take a hammer or better yet a sldgehammer or if u want it to be able to reassmble try using a screwdriver on the screws if u really want to take it apart to small pieces use some explosives Having had experience with a sledgehammer and an upright piano, I hope you are strong and in good physicall condition - it will take all day. My husband suggests a catapult ala "Northern Exposure" and I tend to agree.
The answer will depend on:whether the piano is a grand or upright, whether you want it only for practice or for performance to friends, what other activities take place in the room when the piano is not in use - eg TV, family gatherings etc.
depends on the type of piano and where it is to be moved. The cost will be less if you only want it moved to a different room and it is an upright piano. The cost will also vary between moving companies or individuals doing the move. The best way to determine a base is to call different moving companies and ask them.
When choosing a piano, decide what type of piano to buy. You can either choose a grand piano or an upright piano. Before you decide to buy a piano, you should ask yourself the following: Proficiency Depending on your proficiency level, you may want to purchase something that's slightly higher quality than you think you deserve. Avoid cheap, old used pianos for your child's first piano because you want the instrument to be a good investment and something of value yet fun for your child to enjoy. Space Finance No doubt this is the biggest factor preventing people from getting the piano they want. People are willing to spend $5000 USD to purchase a brand-new, wide-screen TV and yet are reluctant to buy a $3000 USD vertical piano. Understand that most pianos retain their value quite well and also serve as furniture. Grand piano versus upright piano The decision primarily depends on the space and money you have. The action of a grand piano allows for faster repetition of notes and for better tones.
Depending on the condition they can range anywhere from $6500, at the least, to about $15000. The person will most likely want to inspect your piano, that is assuming you still have it, and if it is old and beaten they will take it for the lesser price. A lot of antique collector's will look into this. I suppose your rather excited about your new investment, get a move on.

You do have to disessemble to refurbish, Go to your local bookstore and look for books on the process, and no, you aren't crazy. I would have a local tuner check out the piano to make sure this is worth doing before proceeding! The finish is least important part of the piano.
