I'm 14 and is going from perm to natural...there are 2 things you can do: "Big Chop" or Long Transitioning. Most people are doing the "Big Chop" The BC is when you cut off all your hair from where the Natural hair is growing. Long Transitioning is when you grow your hair out without a relaxer and you have to trim it every 3weeks to a month. If you do the transitioning, it WILL be difficult to deal with 2 different hair textures(what I'm going through) and you can't treat your hair how you use to treat it. It's best to keep away from heat, do protein treatments(put raw egg in your hair, mixed with whole mayo and Olive Oil), and Oil treatments.
