Wicca is a nature based Pagan religion, that is often referred to as 'modern witchcraft'.

There are a few different 'traditions' of Wicca, but many practitioners make it into a more personal practice as opposed to trying to fit strictly into one of the traditions.

It was made popular in the 1950's by Gerald Gardner, and has grown in popularity and acceptance since then.

Wiccans believe in a Goddess that governs the moon, and a God that governs the sun. They also often believe in lesser deities, nature spirits, and fae.
