No. There is simply no recorded association of the two. The largest study done to date was done by Kaiser Permanente. They surveyed the health records of more than 65,000 patients and found no significant differences between pot smokers and non-smokers in anything. What is the punishment for having marijuana less than one cigarette on hospital grounds?

In the United States there are no specific laws about possessions of marijuana on hospital property. You are just bound to state/federal law. In most states, the possession of a small amount of marijuana can range from a misdemeanor with a small fine (Often under $200) and/or possible jail time to a citation that carries no fine on first offense. To know for sure, you would need to look up your state's laws regarding marijuana. NORML lists the penalties on their website for all state's marijuana-related crimes.
