It takes 3 things for the engine to run. Fuel, spark, & air. You have air, and the truck turns over so you are missing either spark or fuel. You have to find out which of those you are missing.
I would suspect a shorted diode in the alternator. Tome to install a rebuilt unit.
the 2010 silverado is the strongest and most powerful truck on the market and the 2011 looks to be even better with the Chevy duramax and Allison transmission it cant be beat

That's a very general question. You would have to look at specifics such as, how the body of the truck looks, the internal work of the truck, how it runs, etc. All of those things play a huge role when pricing a 1989 Chevy truck.

One that I've seen used several times is a late model S10 chassis. Haven't done it myself but it sure looks like a near perfect setup.
The 2007 Chevy truck dash will bolt into a 1998 Chevy truck if both vehicles are the Silverado version of the truck. The dash is different for the lower versions of the interior options.
There is no such thing as a 310 Chevy truck.
