A Squier Stratocaster is a fairly versatile guitar and is not too difficult to play.It depends on what style of music you want to play but you cannot rewally go wrong with a stratocaster. If you can afford a Fender strat then that would be nicer to play than a Squier and should stay in tune better too.
It depends on weather you would like to play acoustic guitar (a fatter looking guitar in mainly natural color) or electric (a thin body guitar that plugs into an amplifier)
In either case a company called Epiphone makes goods acoustic and electric Guitars that can be very cheap but can sound very good. If you are going to buy your first guitar from them I would suggest for an Electric Guitar to but an epiphone les paul and all epiphone acoustic guitars are of decent quality over the price of $200 dollars. Beware of cheap guitars. The cheap guitars can be detected if it doesn't stay tuned easily (changes how its sounds) within a day or two. Another sign of a bad guitar is if the neck is bent any more than a little at the top and bottom. ALWAYS BUY EXTRA STRINGS AND GUITAR PICKS make sure also to have the salesperson show you how to tune and re-tune the guitar.
SO BUY EPIPHONE or Laguna as they are another reliable company that prices under $300 dollars.
Good luck with your playing
It depends on on what type of music you want to play (country would be a traditional gutiar, rock would be an electrical guitar or Bass Guitar, for example, and so on), the amount you are willing to spend, and the type you want.
The two most popular guitars today would have to be the Fender Stratocaster and the Gibson Les Paul. Both can range from hundreds to thousands of dollars, however they make cheaper copies of these guitars under the Squier (for Fender) and Epiphone (for Gibson) labels. There are also the guitar companies ESP, BC Rich, and Ibanez if you are into playing metal. Aside from that , most genres of music use guitars Fender or Gibson.
if you like Folk Music, you may want to get a steel stringed acoustic or for a more classic guitar feel, you may want a nylon-stringed acoustic guitar.
Most importantly, you should get a feel for what type of guitar you want . Go out to Guitar Center or any instrument shops and try playing a guitar.
Yes, a right handed guitar is for right handed people.
Because. The bass is not always on the left look at Nirvana, the guitar was on the left and bass on the right
The strap has to be low, the guitar has to be on your crotch area, and in a solo, you can raise the guitar with your left hand, and raising your right foot a little you can than place the guitar on your right leg in a vertical position.
I don't think so your guitar might not sound right

He played his guitar with his left hand but used a right handed strat. He played with his guitar flipped so he was playing left handed only using a right handed guitar.

There are two knobs on a guitar. One is the tone knob, which is used when tuning the guitar right pitch and sound you want out of the guitar. The other is for your volume, which is obviously used to toggle between the loudness or quietness of the guitar.
