Absolutely.
Guys are deeply flattered by women's calls. On the other hand, don't take his unresponsiveness personally. You just have NO IDEA what's going on in his life. Broke up and got back together. Scared of relationships. GAY! If he won't respond, assume he's got "issues" and move on.
When you call, offer a specific invitation ... a party, a movie, something specific, that relieves pressure that it's a "date". Hey! I's not a "date", it's a movie!
... and if he still won't call ... well, I'm free Saturday (after four).

I used to have terrible anxiety. What I done was thought happy thoughts and stayed out in the sun alot. I don't know how, but being outside really helps get rid of anxiety.
