swelling of your legs and ankles are a normal sign of pregnancy. High blood pressure is a symptom of preeclampsia. If you've been vomitting or nausea, weight gain, swelling of the upper body, headaches and things of that nature you should go check with your doctor about you fetus. Note that preeclampsia doesn't start until your 20th week of pregnancy. Bed rest should help you. Take a load off your feet to help relax the swelling. hope i helped you with you problems.
