Is your battery going? Does it crank slow first think in the morning and is goot the rest of the day? Time for a battery change. If it's happening anytime, clean all the terminals, including the one on the starter and selenoid.
It can be a couple of different things. The most common are. Starter- if it doesn't crank or start - if it cranks and doesn't start crank sensor fuel pump/regulator camshaft sensor fault coil pack (depends on vehicle)
That's not normal my 88 2.8 RSC that....
I crank the engine 3 to 4 times before its start..?so what is the problem of my car dodge caravan 2001...
could be the starter or the solenoid, they arer pron to heating up especially when using headers, peace
The problem needs to be present to trouble shoot it. If guessing is your preference, the garage will provide you with good guesses. But it could get expensive. My guess is a module that would control spark.
My car did the same had fuel pump replaced twice finally found out it was the fuel pressure regulator
Several times they've used "Hip Hip Hurray"
A counterfeit crank is someone from the Tudor times who would pretend to have a epilepic fit so that other people woulf feel sorry for him. Basicly a beggar begging for atention. The counterfeit crank would eat soap so that he frothed from the mouth and writh around on the floor.
Usually when hot? Could be a starter going bad
Had same problem with my 91. ECU had leaking capacitor.
Sorry this isn't a comprehensive answer, with any car in that situation i'd be thinking immobilizer if it has one, most cars will allow it to crank a few times but not spark- so it never starts. hhope this might help you on right track
Yes
