Some bikes do not charge under 1000-1200 rpm. Not sure if your bike is one of them but it sounds like it.
Could be flat battery - check with a good meter, it should show at least 11.9 volts at rest. Check both terminals are clean and tight. Check ground wire where it's bolted to the frame for clean and tight. A fully charged battery will read 12.6 volts with the engine off. At 75% charge it will read 12.4 volts, at 50% it will read 12.2 volts, & at 25% charge it will read 12 volts. Any less and the battery is basically dead. Must be checked with a digital volt meter.

Can also be the starter is failing.
About 5 volts with a .25 divination aka alternating current so it can charge 5.25 or 4.75 which is a safe charging range. Hope this helped and I wouldn't be responding right now if I was wrong because this it from my iPod. That and I had the same question and found answers.
ITS LIKELY THE RELAY...OR A FUSE ON THE PANEL BY DRIVERS DOOR...BUDDY MACK
Inside the alternator
If they reach their full charge in 2 hours then the charger is suppose to shut off.
Your alternator could be bad have it checked this could also be that the car is getting the wrong amount of volts from the battery, either too much or too less
Fuse? Relay? Switch?
usually you blow the diodes inside the alternator and it will not charge. hook it up correctly check all fuses with car running check the voltage at battery make sure it is between 13.4 and 14.5 volts if it reads 12 volts you need a alternator if not u got lucky
Could be a low refrigerant charge Could be a bad fuse
The battery has a dead cell or short and needs replacing.
there is probley something wrong with your battery
