But if the Tranny isn't slipping, clean the pan thoroughly and install a new transmission filter& gasket, and of course, fresh fluid... and it wouldn't be objectionable to maybe add a transmission conditioner with that fresh new fluid which can be picked up at your local auto parts center along with the rest of your parts.
