Depending on the motor you can press on the fuel rail pressure release valve. If gas sprays out, it's not the fuel pump.
might need a new fuel tank floater, and/or fuel pump. or it could be a short in wiring around fuel pump
Does it have fuel/spark/compression?
don't know 2022 hasn't happened yet
You don't know how to shift
I'm assuming your car is not starting, and you think it is because the fuel pump is bad. The easiest way to check if you don't have a fuel pressure gauge it to just spray a little 2+2 or starting fluid in the throttle body and see if it starts up. It will only run for a second or too, but if it does start, then it means you are not getting any fuel and it is most likely the fuel pump.
If its hard to start it probably your fuel pump going out .You will know when it out you will go run your batteries dead trying to start it. the pump is in your fuel tank.

The fuel rail has a valve on it, but I don't know too many people that bother with it. Most that I know including myself just go after the filter. You'll get wet to a certain extent no matter what.
easiest way i know of is to turn key and listen for the hum of the fuel pump
Not that I know of. The tank has to come down to gain access to the pump.
The engine will not start and you will probably be dripping fuel from the bottom of the vehicle or frame.
engine will not start
