It could be the firing order is wrong
The transmission for the 1996 Chevy 3500 could be jumping from overdrive for several reasons. The transmission could have a vacuum or electrical problem causing it to come out of overdrive. Or, there could be an internal valve problem causing this to happen.
I asked my dealer the same question and he said there is no fuse for the turn signals. There is a flasher assembley. If you think you blew a fuse check the flasher assembley but where is that?

ive had this car ( used ) for 1 year..not reiable..( cant spell)..on going steering problem..aparently Chrysler did a bad job on the rack and tie rods..cooling problem..get rid of the car..i still have mine..i bought it used for 1000$ and i put about 3 or 4 thousand into it to fix it..its a lemon..terrible everything
a blown head gasket needs to be replaced as early as possable. it will only get worse and additives like water glass, etc will gradually worsen the problem.
code 1195 is dealer specific if you look up code 0195 it is more general but will tell you what the problem is

The 1995 and 1996 Plymouth Neons have a computer problem that make them stall out occasionally. Sometimes they do not start for a while. The dealer says it is an intermittent problem and charge about $500. to repair the problem. It however reoccurs about a year later. That's adds up to $500 a year. I got rid of my Neon after the second computer.

Your local dealer has tools to help you get in. Call them for help and they'll fix the broken handles as well so it will permanently fix the problem.

If they are the same transmission model, then it may be possible. The problem may be the electronics. It is best to check with a good transmission repair shop or a Chrysler/Dodge dealer.

A lot depends on when it is sputtering. Is it hesitating under acceleration? That is what happens most commonly in eclipses. It is probably a misfire in one of the cylinders. Change your plugs and wires.
Have the cylinder head checked. Probably a crack in the head. That is the problem i had 2yrs ago. part was about 300.00 at autozone. Dealer may charge about 2000.00 to repair.
