There are at least four reasons. First one is somebody was driving your car and ran on something like a piece of wood or metal wire and so on. It's not natural to happen but it's possible. Second reason is the temperature change. If you didn't have a proper coolant the cold weather can damage the plastic easily. Third reason is overheating because of either a not proper level of the coolant or a faulty sensor. And fourth reason is twisting of the radiator which can be caused by improper installation or front damage in the past.
