check all the little fuses in the fuse box under the hood. trust me 300.00 later and it was a 2.00 fuse
If a 2002 Jetta is jerking violently on sharp turns, stop driving the car immediately. This could be a problem with a tie rod, the A frame, or ball joints. Driving the car with this condition could lead to the tire falling off.
Simple answer is the alternator
If it's jerking back & forth, and not shaking/vibrating.... then it's most likely the lockup torque converter
It could be several things but if it is a constant jerking (repeating) and more noticeable a lower speeds < maybe even pulling to one side ,where you have to hold the wheel a little to the other direction to go straight. I would suspect a bad tire , may not be noticeable just looking at the tire but could have a internal broken belt.
Are you sure of the error code? My reference says it's an unknown, as in non-existent, code
Bad transmissions can have several symptoms. The Tahoe could shake, or not go into gear properly. The vehicle can suffer fuel economy, or have trouble driving at speed due to the transmission slipping.
If there is no trouble while shifting, then the problem most likely is with the ignition sequence. This could be caused by bad gasoline, a bad timing assembly or faulty spark plugs/wires.
There are a couple of reasons why you car is jerking when you are going below 60. It could be the result of a problem with your transmission, or your fuel pump could be going.
if its doing it only when you slow down it could be a number of things, such as, vacuum hoses, map sensors, of course if it does it whileyour driving too it can also be a vac. hose
This happened to me last summer while driving my 2002 Tahoe Z71 on the highway. In my case it was an electrical issue with a blown 10 amp fuse. Check the fuse box located in the engine compartment. After replacing the fuse, I was good to go!
Could be in need of a tune up.
This could be due to illness, or poor water quality
