As in most other vehicles it's most likely a bad alternator or a bad mass airflow sensor. Try hooking-up jumper cables from car to car..(The jumper car must be running) If the Tahoe stays running while connected it's the alternator... I'll check back or msg me to let me know....
No there is not.
The engine may be receiving too much fuel and be unable to combust. This may be why it cuts off once you press the gas.
For the 1999 Chevy Tahoe, automatic headlights are turned on by default. Turning them off requires opening the bezel on the dashboard and removing the light sensor.
It cuts off the engine while you start it up.
The light assy has to come off and there a couple of screws you get to from inside to remove the light.
No, it does not have an on/off switch. Why would it? Children go in the back seat.
Yes, You have to remove the intake to get the heads off.
Check your fuel pump.
If your 1999 VW Bug's engine cuts off when it gets hot, you might have an issue with bad gas or with the distributor. Electrical problems will often appear at operating temperature. You could also have an issue with the oxygen sensors.
No. NOT EVEN CLOSE.
I would start with replacing the fuel filter. Also they are bad about fuel leaks from the fuel pressure regulator.
go in from the wheel well.you will have to take the splash guard off but its worth it!
