There should be a small trap door in the shifter, mine was below the drive letters in the shifter. Just a tiny little flap that you can push open with a ball point pen or screwdriver. Somewhere in there is a release for your problem. I just pushed the butt end of a pen straight in and wiggled it while working the shifter fwd and back. It released right away, but since my original problem was a few drops of water spilt in the shifter, it was ruined and the transmission computer locked itself in "limp home mode" which means you only have 2nd and reverse. Nice.... I'm so glad I bought a car that will surrender to a drop of water. The repair est is $850. Next time I'm buying a non-electronic car, they don't leave you stranded or with big repair bills.
Press the brake before you move it out of park

Removing an anti-theft device for the purpose of larceny.
my 92 camaro is fitted with the anti theft device i changed the ignition switch and the car will not start need codes what are they??
To protect car from theft a GPS vehicle tracking device is required to be installed in car. Device must provide real time location of the car, give anti car theft call alert, anti tyre theft call alert etc. for complete security of car against theft.
When you have to reset the anti-theft device on a 2004 Nissan Maxima you should take it to the dealership where they can do it by hooking your car to the computer.
