Your 2002 Pontiac Bonneville will not start when turning the key you have to pump the gas sometimes it stalls upon start up is it safe to start with a new fuel filter?

of coarse. All the filter does is its job filter the gas if its stalling the old filter could be stopped up. change it try that and see if it works. You shouldn't pump the gas its fuel injected your pump does all the work.
