No, don't buy a friggin toyota. This is an easy fix.
Put the car up on ramps. Unclip and unplug the ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Wire Harness behind both front wheels. Clean them with something like a cleaner specifically for electrical connections, You can even use wd40 since it is a water displascent and then use something like dielectric grease in the connection. Plug it back together and go have the light reset or drive it a day and let it reset itself.

My 2002 Impala was doing the same thing. I took it in and they said it was code C1225. Traced to broken LF ABS Speed Sensor Harness. They replaced the harness and charged $231.88 at a dealership.
