Two things for slipping. One, check your transmission fluid, add fluid to just the hash marks. Second, the trans has worn clutch plates which will require a rebuild. Most of all if you drive around town in Overdrive, Stop. The trans can not build enough pressure to keep it in Overdrive. Then best thing to do is if under 45 use Drive or 3rd gear. That will keep the engine speed up a little, but your trans won't be going back and forth from 3rd to 4th. Which in the long run wears out your 3rd and 4th clutchs.
