probbly your charging system is going and you want to get it checked out
If the vehicle all the sudden just dies (stalls out) or sputters -R Diesel
First thing to do is replace the fuel filter. If it still blows the fuse the fuel pump needs replacing.
coilMost auto parts stores can read the codes for you at no charge. Perhaps that might lead to an answer.
more than likely its the computer does it work somtimes then all of a sudden turn off

may need a tune up. check the timing. have the fuel pmp checked and the fuel filter
Take off the gas cap, look for a schroder valve on the fuel rail. If it has none then wrap the filter connection in a rag and be prepared for a sudden spray of fuel when you loosen the filter.
fuel pump bad or cloged filter...if it just did it all of a sudden i would say fuel pump

I have a 1996 GMC Yukon and this happened to me. I would be driving on the highway and all of a sudden the engine would shut off. The fuel filter and then the fuel pump turned out to be my problem.
