Possibly. The dragon should have a good appetite, and eat heartily every day. It should have good color, and not be dark or black all of the time. It should not have sunken eyes, and you should not be able to see the outline of hip bones clearly.
Healthy reptiles do spend a lot of time basking and resting, but should have bright, clear eyes, and be alert most of the day.
If it is lethargic, not eating well, and is thin and doesn't have good color, take it to an experienced reptile veterinarian immediately.

∙ 13y agois it a girl? if so, mine did that too. she was listless and kept opening and closing her mouth. the vet told us a follicle broke inside her, and yesterday they had to put her down:(take to the vets right away

the bearded dragon can easily accidentally eat the sand while eating crickets. if it eats too much it can get impacted with the sand and die. its also possible for the sand to get stuck in the cloaca while defecating or in the eyes.
