if your best friend really means something to you, then you go talk to her about it. just say that he asked you out and see how she reacts, she shouldn't get mad at you for being asked out and if you didnt say yes then there should be no problem. then if your friend says its okay your in the clear to tell him yes. or you could just realize it is silly to fight over boys when your best friend has been around a lot longer.
