My Chihuahua is 4 lbs and 6 months old. She is a teacup so I think she is pretty much done growing now.
5-10 pounds it depends if it is a teacup toy or regular my toy is 5 pounds so...
for the above answer... THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A TEACUP.. there just isn't that is a term puppy mills and bad breeders use to sell a puppy. My chi is 3 months and 1 lb and 6 oz. hes still growing! i love him either way you should too! :D
It's normal. A 6 lb. chihauhau is only for showing. Most chihuahua's weigh over showing weight. My four year old chi weighs 10 lbs...and she's not overweight. Some chi's weigh more, some less. That's the thing about have a chi puppy...you can never predict how big they will be when they are adult size. People get a 2 lb. chi puppy and expect it to stay that size...they grow, and grow and sometimes grow some more. That's kind of what's gotten them into trouble within the last couple of years, once they grow out of the cute puppy stage some owners decide their not small enough for them.
There are not different kinds of chihuahua's, there are just categories. There are apple heads, teacup, tiny toy, toy. Some are just big for their age!! Many Chihuahuas can grow to be pretty big. My friend has one that is a toy and weighs 6 pounds. There are not different kinds of chihuahua's, there are just categories. There are apple heads, teacup, tiny toy, toy. The typical rule to find out the weight your Toy breed will be when fully grown, is to either triple his weight at 8 weeks, or double his weight at 12 weeks. When your puppy turns 12 weeks weigh him, lets say he weighs 3lbs at 12 weeks, times that weight by 2 and you will have 6lbs... This is an estimate, but I find it to be quite accurate :)
If you know how big the parents of the dog are, about that big. If not they may get to be about a foot long (including head)
10.7 kg.
theres no such thing you simply have a small maltese. youve been tricked
If not a teacup chihuahua then around 2 to 3 lbs.
about 5 or 6 pounds
Mine is alittle older than 15 months and she weighs only 6lbs,I have heard that if a chihuahua weighs more than 6lbs then its not a true chihuahua.
On average a teacup chihuahua should weigh under 4 pounds.
Very big lol
It depends on the type of dog. The most likely size for a puppy is 6 inches. But for a Chihuahua about 5 inches.
I don't think so...when buying any dog as a puppy you never know what they will grow into. My chihuahua is 5 years old and weighs 9 lbs., which is okay with me because I wanted a bigger, healthier chihuahua.
The size of your chihuahua depends on which kind you get and the parents. If you get a teacup chihuahua it is obviously going to be smaller than a regular chihuahua. However chihuahuas usually are very small. About 5-7 pounds.
chihuahua mixed dogs with jack russells are a ittle bigger then a normal sized chihuahua pretty much they are the size of a jack russlle. also you can look at pics they are very cute.
Mine's 4 months old and weighs 35 pounds!
This mixes weight ranges from 5-12 pounds.
