I am only 15, but I wear braces and have gone through this before. If you can't afford the deposit, try to save for it, or ask if you can pay it at later date. You can even try applying for dental insurance or Medical. If you qualify, it can pay for it entirely, depending on the severity of the problem. If all else fails, try borrowing the money from a trusted friend of a relative. I hope this helped. Good luck!

I think I have just the solution for your dilemma. If you have Western Dental near you, they have this plan for braces. You only have to pay a down payment of $99 and it only cost $35 a month. I know, it seems to good to be true, but try giving them a try. it just might make your while. And again, good luck!

Ask your dentist if the treatment can wait a year, and try to save for the deposit.

If my ex takes me to court for more child support can she also make me pay for braces for my daughters teeth?

Unless you absolutely can't afford it, then this isn't about you and your wife, but the fact your daughter needs braces and you should be OFFERING to help pay for them. Braces don't come cheap. The courts will decide on what is appropriate for Child Support and not your wife or you. If the courts feel your wife is getting enough for Child Support then that's it and you pay no more. You can also retain legal counsel and have your wife give you ALL receipts of that Child Support so you know that every cent is being spent on your daughter's upbringing and what the money is being spent on.

If your 14 year old daughter's teeth look great but the orthodontist says that she's got some spacing and that she needs braces to bring them closer Does she really need braces?

It depends on what you think. My twelve year old daughter has quite alot of spacing in her teeth,(only the top row) and we are definitely going to get her braces within the next few months. I know money is tight right now but if your daughter doesnt like her smile i would suggest it. But if she likes how it is and doesnt want to go through the pain of braces right now always remember theres no age limit to when you can and cant get braces. Hope this helps!!♥

Does peachcare cover braces?

Peachcare only covers braces if your childs mouth is really mangled up. My daughter needs them, from being kicked in the mouth by a play mate at the age of 5. It pushed the tooth bud back. She is now ten and peachcare said her mouth was not bad enough to fix. Well she wont even smile in a school picture now.

What is the average price of braces?

The cost of braces is determined by the amount of work that needs to be done on your teeth. Anywhere from $4,500 - $10,000, but if you have dental coverage much of the cost could be covered.
