Believe it or not this is more common than you think. I left my ex many years ago because he was cheating on me. I started divorce proceedings, moved out into my own apartment and got a new job that paid more. At first I missed him (believe it or not) and I realized I didn't really miss him so much as the fact there were no male things around such as clothing, shaving items, etc. I heard he got married to his mistress and I feltjust like you. I got thinking of it and all it was is the fact that myex and I had fallen in love at one time, had some good memories and fun times, but then he had ruined it all by cheating and he had the problem, not me. Once a cheater, always a cheater! This is when thing started to come together for me. I got angry for what he didto me,left him to his own demise. I felt strange being on my own, but in a couple of months I had time to reflect on my life, know my strengths and weakness' and knew I could be independent and not need a man in my life to survive. It was a great feeling. I dated for awhile, took a sabbatical because I was tired of dating and had fun with my girlfriends. Then I was introduced to my 2nd husband and we've been happily married for 35 years.
