If your ex calls you every night it means he/she's still in love with you, somehow. People who don't care don't get in touch, don't even try to. If you're still in love with that person as well, my advice is: go for it, don't wait for his/her "okay-let's-meet". Surprise him/her by showing yourself in a place where you know he/she will be and clear the issue on the spot. On the other hand, if you don't want to re-start a relationship with that person, be polite (and gentle) and tell him/her not to call unless in real need. People may leave our hearts, but we must always be there for them, as human beings.
