Your fob died in your Hyundai Tiburon and when you unlock the car with the key the alarm goes off. Anyway to circumvent this?

Basic bottom line: if you lock with remote, you have to unlock with remote or the alarm will sound.
If this happens to you (it's happened to me and gotten me a ticket for "disturbing the peace!"), here's what you do to shut the @#$%@# thing off:
Per the dealer, insert the key and turn the ignition to the "On" position. Leave it in that position until the alarm shuts off (usually between 30-120 seconds).
Turn the key to the left as if to remove it, but don't. Wait 10 seconds and start the car. This should get you back up and running.
BTW, if you lock/unlock the car with the key, rather than the remote, you will not enable the alarm at all.
