The brakes can squeak, the suspension can squeak, the steering can squeak, the wheel hub/bearings can squeak, have a trusted mechanic determine the source of the squeak.

My 93 s10 Blazer has torsion bar suspension and I suspect yours does too, which would make it independent front suspension.
The front hub and bearing assemblies are the same for left and right side.
The firing order for a 1996 Chevrolet S10 Blazer is 1, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. The number one cylinder is on the front right as you face the engine.
It is at the front of the engine, below and to the left of the damper.

As far as I can tell the front and rear speakers are 6-3/4 in
trans or oil? oil is in front left. i dont think the 98 blazer has a trans dipstick. Instead, there is a bolt on the side of the trans.
