I was a dutch national who became an Australian citizen However the dutch still consider me Dutch. In your case the situation seems a little more extreme and I suggest you contact the Netherlands Consulate for clear advice on this question.

You can apply for Dutch citizenship, but as far as I know you will be treated no differently because of the history of your grandfather. Anyone can attempt to apply for Dutch citizenship, but your situation as described in your question does not give you any eligibility.

Can her son get the french nationality when she was in the tour in tamilnadu?

To get French nationality one of your parents has to be a French national. In this case bring his or her ID to the French consulate to support the case. If there is no written evidence of a parent being French, one can get French nationality by living (legally) for ten years in France, and then applying for citizenship - which is asked for, but never granted. Another way is to marry a French national.

Can you apply for French passport your father was adjudant in French army?

People who served in the French army can apply for French citizenship if they fought for France. Starting from that, your father has first to obtain French citizenship (even if dual with a another nationality). Once that done, you can apply for French nationality (expect that to be slow and uneasy)

How long can a UK citizen stay out of the UK without losing UK nationality if he wasn't born in the UK?

If you are born in the UK and have a British Passport with status as British Citizen (British Subject is different), you can stay out of the UK for as long as you like without losing your nationality, unless of course, you have applied for nationality of another country. Even then, you may still be entitled to dual nationality.

What is the difference between citizenship and citizenship?

Answer citizenshipActually, there are three (and perhaps more), namely, Nationality, Citizenship and Residence. Nationality usually describes the country where you were born.Citizenship is a legal matter, that you have been registered with the government of a country as having rights as a full citizen in that country. For most people, that is the country where they are born and continue to live, but if a person moves to Another Country, citizenship may be obtained in the new country, by applying to the government.Residence is the place where you have a permanent residence, where you spend most of your time during a year.So a person who is born in England, moves to Canada as a child and applies to Canada for citizenship, then spends time in France as a teacher, for example, could have English nationality, Canadian citizenship and French residence.

If you are born in one country but your family is from another country what nationality does that make you?

It depends on the rules of the various countries. The rules in the United States are that if you are born here, you can claim US Citizenship. If you are born of US parents in another country, you can claim American citizenship. Those born in another country are typically required to 'pick one' when they reach the age of majority. It is possible to have dual citizenship, or legally obtain a passport from other countries, but it isn't recommended. Your nationality ois dicated by the country in which you were born. If your brother was born in June, that doesn't make you a Gemini.

Can you play national handball for more countries than one?

At same time - NO. If someone has played for one national team, and then decides that he wants to play for another, he has to change his nationality, or take nationality of the team he wants to play alongside with his current nationality, and then wait for a period of two years from the last match for his previous national team before he can play for the second one.
