Your mother does not approve of your boyfriend she is shutting you out because you did not choose her over him you are twenty seven and she just wont let go what should you tell her?

maybe its time for your boyfriend to talk to your mother. I mean, if he really loves you he would at least talk to your mother. It might turn out to be a disaster, but trust me, your mom will at least think deep down that he is able to talk to her unlike most boyfriends. Tell her that you still love her, she just needs to let go and you have to let her know that. Maybe spend time a week of two with you mother letting her know that you still love her and then maybe you, your boyfriend, and you mother could spend some times together. I mean, if you just forget about your mother, you know you'll have that guilt feeling for the rest of your life until you talk to her. Talking to a mother may be hard, but get her attention, shout at her, she needs to hear YOU. She needs to understand. And then once you've talked to her and your boyfriend had talked to her, just give her some space. Tell her that it would mean everything to you to just approve him and tell her you'll give her time to think about it even when she says no at the first time.
