Thank your lucky stars that they care.I know so many parents the don't give a crap where their kids are or what they are doing.I "was" over protective with me kids(perhaps a bit to much) My "guess" would be that they care a lot about you and they just want to protect you from what can be an "awful world" with some "awful people".I'm not sure how old you are but please do "try" to look at it from their prospective ;)

Usually when there is only one child, parents become very over protective and it is also very natural for this to get annoying especially since the thhe daughter is growing as a person and wants some room to herself.
