Thank your lucky stars that they care.I know so many parents the don't give a crap where their kids are or what they are doing.I "was" over protective with me kids(perhaps a bit to much) My "guess" would be that they care a lot about you and they just want to protect you from what can be an "awful world" with some "awful people".I'm not sure how old you are but please do "try" to look at it from their prospective ;)

Parents are not "evil" they are protective over their children.
They're too danged over-protective.
Yes, most likely. Most girls don't appreciate how their parents watch over them; they want their freedom even though their judgment might not be what it should be so they could protect themselves.
Parents are required by law to protect their children. Not to mention the fact that they protect you because they love you.
Usually when there is only one child, parents become very over protective and it is also very natural for this to get annoying especially since the thhe daughter is growing as a person and wants some room to herself. The parents should respect her room and back off a little, they should sit down with their daughter and talk about why they are so over protective and listen to how this is effecting their child... hope that helps
Well yes I mean you should at least have a little say. You don't want to be over protective, but If he/she is bad, say criminal record , school suspension. I would say you should definitely have a say!
Do your best to look like Janeane Garofalo, and to adopt her "informed" way of thinking!
Because they are stupid and over-protective
