I would try using a higher absorbency tampon, or maybe you could just use a pad. if you notice that you have heavy periods a lot and if it causes problems for you, you might want to talk to your doctor, or your gynecologist if you have one.

Why am i bleeding so heavy it goes threw tampons and all?

Your period is heavy, it's no more complicated than that - there may be various reasons for heavy flow, but without more information it's impossible to say even if it is abnormally heavy. Generally speaking if you're leaking through a tampon within 1-2 hours it's safe to use the next absorbency, although if the tampon isn't saturated in blood after 4-6 hours you should use lower absorbency again. If you're leaking through an ultra absorbency tampon within 1 hour then that is unusually heavy and you should talk to your doctor about investigating the cause or using tranexamic acid to reduce flow.

What does it mean when you have cramps but not your peiod?

How long after you first get your period can you wear tampons?

You should wait at least six cycles. At first periods are often too light to use tampons anyway, but you need to wait until you know your flow pattern (how heavy your bleeding is on each day of your period) in order to have an idea of what absorbency to use - using too high an absorbency can be uncomfortable and increase risks of TSS. It is recommended that pre-teens and teens avoid tampons as they're at higher risk of TSS.Ideally you should stick with pads at first, and if you do want to use something internal then opt for safer options like menstrual cups or softcups - these are internal like tampons but safer and cleaner so no risk of TSS or infections, this also means unlike tampons they can be worn from your first period, for up to 12 hours with any flow and any time of your period, and menstrual cups don't leak like tampons.

If your period is really heavy and a super tampon does not hold it for more then 30 minutes should you insert another one?

After removing the first one, yes, put another one in. Never put more than one tampon in at a time. But if your flow is that heavy you should talk to a doctor. That isn't normal. Not normal at all, if you have that much bleeding see your doctor immediately, you could be hemorrhaging. Never use two tampons at a time. If you need to use a napkin as well. But if bleeding is this heavy you should certainly see a doctor as something is very wrong.

Are tampons used for swimming only?

No, tampons are not just used for swimming.Tampons can be used any time during menstruation as long as the individual has heavy enough flow and doesn't have a vaginal infection, although they shouldn't be worn overnight while sleeping. For swimming tampons don't need to be used either, menstrual cups and softcups can be used instead.

Why would your period be almost not there and then the text time you change your tampon be very heavy and clotty?

Basically your flow just become heavier. If your period is 'almost not there' then you shouldn't be using tampons at all, tampons dry-out vaginal tissues which causes splitting - this gives TSST-1 toxins responsible for TSS a direct route into the bloodstream so higher TSS risk - without sufficient flow tampons will increase damage so pose higher risk. When flow is light use pads or you can also use menstrual cups and softcups.

A word for heavy menstrual period?

The medical term to mean a heavy period is Menorragia.Menorragia is when the menstrual flow is over 80ml, although this is still fairly light compared to many people's menstrual flow. If you're leaking through ultra tampons or maxi pads within an hour then talk to your doctor to check everything is okay and get Tranexamic Acid to reduce flow, also consider a menstrual cup which hols more flow and can even lighten your flow too.
