Also , I was looking at the 1997 Ford Explorer Owner Guide and it shows
that there is a 30 amp maxi fuse ( # 10 ) in the Power Distribution Box
( the P D Box is " live " ) located in the engine compartment which is for
the Power Windows / Power Locks / Power Seats
Have you checked the fuses?

Internet explorer might stop working because of various reasons. Load on system might be one reason for that.

On a 2000 Ford Explorer, the power window relay is typically located in the power distribution box under the hood. It may also be found in the interior fuse panel, depending on the specific configuration. If your windows and wipers have stopped working and the fuses are intact, it’s a good idea to check the relay for any issues or consider inspecting the wiring and switches for faults.

That's the same thing that happen to me!
IF ALL WINDOWS HAVE STOPPED OPERATING AT ONE TIME YOU MOST PROBABLY HAVE A FUSE PROBLEM. IF THEY HAVE NOT ALL STOPPED OPERATING OR THEY HAVE STOPPED OPERATING AT DIFFERENT TIMES YOU PROBABLY HAVE POWER MOTOR PROBLEMS.
