Might want to check the catalatic converter. if it is that, it's gonna be spendy unless you just drill a hole in the pipe.

Check the bulb, it could be blown.
The metal band holding the exhaust is broken.
possibly the timing chain tenisoner. wear on the plastic casuses a clicking sound.
when you change directions from forward to reverse it makes a clunk sound and there is a slit delay in movement.

When the clutch fan locks up it makes a sound like a propeller on a airplane and the more you rev the engine the louder it gets.
unless it is running fine it could be a vaccum hose leak. some vehicles have plastic intake which causes them to suck air louder, and can give off a whistling sound.
That is the ABS in operation.
Probably in need of a good tune up.
a v6 will never ever sound like a 454 . and why would you want it to anyway
