Yes, A kitchen Mixer is an example of Universal motor and so are other portable machines like a drill machine. A universal motor is one that can run on both A.C. and D.C.
The filters are checked regularly. The motor is working fine. There is no switch to adjust speed. It only freezes after being on for a little while. Both the inside and outside coils freeze over. You aren't getting enough air across your evaporator coils inside the house. Have you checked the filter? Is the motor working properly? Can you switch the motor to a higher speed?
Do you hear the motor running? If there is no sound, the motor has probably burnt out and needs to be replaced. If you do hear the motor running, you've probably stripped a gear. They can sometimes be replaced, but it might be more cost effective to replace it.
An 85 watt fan motor, working on ac, would probably have a power factor of about 0.75 so would draw 113 VA. The estimated current would be 1 amp on a 120 v supply or ½ amp on a 240 vsupply.
The 3 phase formula you are looking for is I = HP x 746/1.73 x E x% Eff x pf. Where I = amps, E = voltage, %Eff = percent efficiency of the motor and pf = power factor.
No idea but I have the same problem with mine !
The battery provides power to all electrical systems fitted to the car, such as the starter motor, lights, indicators, windscreen wipers, fuel pump, radio etc.
uunder the bonnet
If washer fuse is blown replace it first ,still washer not working ? One can check motor by following method unplug motor from Engine wiring and connect to separate 12VDC supply from Engine Battery if it does not moved throw & get new one. Maxmagic
It could be the windscreen washer motor
Near the windscreen wipers motor, on right.
u stay in the car and not flat on the windscreen
Below windscreen in the front hood. You have to remowe plastic cover to gain access. http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/5712/wipersq4.jpg
Check for blown fuse, lift wipers off windscreen, see if they move at all. Wiper motor dhas passed on.
YOUR WIPERS ARE NOT WORKING AND IT IS NOT THE FUSE. 1- MAKE SURE YOU ARE GETTING POWER TO THE WIPER MOTOR, DISCONNECT WIPER MOTOR FROM LINKAGE AND OPERATE, IT SHOULD SPIN 2- MOVE WIPERS MANUALLY WITH MOTOR DISCONNECTED, IT SHOULD MOVE, IF NOT THEN YOUR WIPER LINKAGES ARE SIEZED. 3- LINKAGES SIEZED, REPAIRABLE AND ALSO REPLACEABLE, YOUR OPTION GOOD LUCK...... YOU CAN FIX IT.
If the starter isn't working, the car will not crank at all. When you turn the key you will either get a clicking sound (which could also mean a dead battery), or you will hear the sound of an electric motor spinning and nothing else.
I presume you mean the washer motor? for the windscreen, its behind the bumper in front of the drivers wheel. You can see it if you look in the wheel arch.
