WOOOT ! I have one and I sold $2500 (: dont sell it ! :0 I regret
There are a number of online retailers that sell Smith Corona typewriter ribbons such as amazon. Amazon has a large selection of Smith Corona typewriter ribbons and also offers free shipping on orders that are $25 or greater.
Smith Corona no longer produces typewriters. They have not produced typewriters for over ten years. Unfortunately, the likelihood of there still being a Smith Corona typewriter that has never been used before is very slim. There is nowhere that one can purchase a brand new Smith Corona Electric Typewriter as museums don't sell their items.
I have a Smith-Corona electric typewriter called a "Coronet Super 12" still in the case. It is blue in color and still works. In excellent condition. Was wondering the value of this typewriter and what would be the best way to find a buyer? Thank you, Pam Burkholder
Hi there ~ I was looking for the same instruction manual, and I found this website: http://users.lewiston.com/ejorgens/office/smithcorona/smithcorona.html It appears to sell manuals for a lot of different/vintage typewriters, including the smith corona portable sterling. (I'm assuming you are refering to the 1938 - 1949 model) Look for the Clipper/Stering manual if this is the age of your machine.
The Adler Typewriter is in exellent condition and was purchased new in 1959.
His typewriter.
It really depends on the condition of the typewriter, the keys, the keyboard layout (QWERTY models had to be special ordered and are less common), the condition of the case (wood or leather) I own three Blickensderfer 5, two 7s, and one 6. I have purchased all but one on eBay. Follow auctions on that site, look at the condition and see what they sell for to get a general idea. To me a Number 5 is worth between $50 and $200; but I have seen them sell for over $200 when bidding wars start.
Typewriter ribbons can be purchased online at specialty print stores (e.g. Vintage Typewriter Shoppe). They can also be purchased from electronic commercial corporations and online auction sites (e.g. Amazon, eBay).
I'm not sure about your exact typewriter, but about 95% of typewriters use a standard 1/2 inch ribbon, there are many places that sell them online, a reliable one is shown below.
The value of a Topps Emmit Smith rookie card varies greatly with the condition of the card. Some of these cards sell for as little as $5 and some sell for as much as about $30.
i dont know but they dont sell them any more around in corona.
