It is normal for a temperature gauge to go up a little bit until the thermostat opens up and the cooling fan comes on. As long as it is not going out of the normal temperature range it is fine.

try replacing the thermostat
Probably a sticky thermostat. It's getting ready to fail so you should probably replace it ASAP.
it is possible that you have a faulty thermostat or you have air pockets in the new radiator when the new coolant was added
