how do you replace a fitting from a high pressure oil pump that is leaking oil in a 2001 ford F350 diesel truck?
either the bearing is noisy and driving you crazy or the pump is leaking ,or your truck is over heating and someone is guessing this will fix it
Leaking, noise/chatering, and hard to turn either direction
My best guess would be a leaking slave cylinder. You may have to pull the transmission to access it.
Time to replace the pump.
The seals in the pump are leaking and the pump needs to be replaced.
if it is not making any noise,or leaking from bottom of pump. Releif hole is on bottom of pump,if leaking replace pump.
Water pump shaft loose? Water pump leaking? Water circulating in coolant system?
The way you stop your water pump from leaking on a Ford Transit Lorry depends on why it is leaking. The most common fix is to replace the gasket on the water pump.
Usually a leaking hose into or out of the water pump (depending on its location), or the water pump gasket.
