All snakes have there own distinct scientific name. For instance, the western diamondback in referred to as crotalus atrox. The black mamba is Dendroaspis polylepis. Most rattlesnakes belong to the crotalus family i.e. eastern diamondback is crotalus adamanteus and the Mojave rattlesnake is crotalus scrutulatus this is a sub-species, all snakes belong to the reptilia class and the serpentes sub-order.

A regular snake in general doesn't have a scientific name. Only distinct snakes have scientific names, like the Angolian garter snake is Elapsoidea Semiannulata.
