What are the coverage of the exam for police officer?

All depends on the department and or the company that made the test. Normally basic tests will cover math, grammar, reading. The thought is that they can teach you what they need you to know. But you have to have some basic skills in order to be successful in the police academy. Some tests might only cover police topics. Again, it all depends on the department.

How do you get into air force academy after basic training?

Basic Military Training is initial accession training for Enlisted Air Force Personnel. The Air Force Academy is a school for commissioned officers, and as such, after first getting accepted to the Air Force Academy, you must still go through Basic Cadet Training. If you plan on attending the Academy and have the ability to get accepted, I strongly recommend not entering enlisted basic training, as I have heard some graduates joke about how they went through 5 different Basic Trainings: Enlisted Basic, Academy Preparatory School (Where almost all prior enlisted cadets must spend a year before even beginning their 4 years at the Academy) Basic, Air Force Academy Basic, and then twice through the Academy Basic as cadre/instructors. The Air Force Academy application is a long process which includes writing samples, academic resumes, interviews, as well as medical examinations and physical fitness testing. The process of interviews, essays, and resumes is also repeated to acquire a Congressional Nomination to attend. For more specific information on this process, contact an Admission Liaison Officer.

Is a federal reserve police a real policemen?

Yes, while the Federal Reserve is a quasi-government agency, and the Police are not paid Federally, they have powers granted from The Department of Justice, as Federal Law Enforcement Officers. This comes courtesy of The Patriot Act. New Officers must attend a basic law enforcement recruit academy, accredited by FLETA. It is usually held in Atlanta or New York. New York is said to be the tougher and more regimental academy of the Federal Reserve Police Training Unit. So, your answer is yes, they are real Police Officers, but as with most Uniformed Government Police Agencies, the work is 99 percent physical security.

Do you need a degree to become a military police officer?

Hard to clarify if a "Military Police Officer" refers to an Enlisted MP or an MP, who is also an officer (as in a Lieutenant (or higher). In short, just to be an Enlisted Military Police. You need to complete Basic Training, and the MP Job Training that the military provides; however, you do NOTneed a college degree. To be an Officer (Lieutenant +) in the military, who is an MP, you would need to complete the officer's academy.

Do you get paid to go through training for the police academy?

If you are employed by a department which operates its own academy (or contracts those services to an outside organization) you will receive the basic salary of a police recruit. Some departments, to escape the financial burden and cost to the taxpayers, will require you to pay your own way through an accredited private teaching facility and then will hire you after your successful completion. Some of these departments may offer to reimburse you for all or part of your out-of-pocket tuition if you sign an employment agreement with them to guarantee you will remain employed by them for a minimum number of years.
