If you travel alone or with one other person, bus transportation may be something you should look into. No one travels by bus anymore, so you will likely have plenty of space on the bus to lie down and rest or have a seat to yourself. Stay alert for your stop so you can be sure to get off the bus if there are not many people on with you.

Really depends on the wheelbase and overall length of the bus. As is, a "bus" is designed by its function alone, and there are no minimum standards for wheelbase or overall turn length for the sake of defining a bus. If used for third-party transportation of passengers, a minivan is effectively a bus, for example.

you have to be 13 years of age some greyhounds will accept 12 year olds
You have to be 17 or older to ride alone. People under 17 must be accompanied by a guardian 17 or older.
There is no minimum age for a child to use public transport alone. The legal guardian must make a judgement call on what would be a safe and reasonable age for their child to ride unaccompanied. Many bus companies will have their own policies in place on acceptable age ranges.
