The new TV antennas look more like modern transistor radios. I installed an indoor amplified antenna and get 20 channels which include the major networks, this works best in metropolitan areas. Then I installed a external WIFI antenna and get speeds faster then DSL or Cable Basic internet. WIFI is very cheap and in some places free. Finally I installed a cell phone antenna and dropped my land line. With the cell phone antenna/repeater I get 5 bars at home on my cell phone. I dropped my landline, cable TV and Cable Internet. Saving $170.00 per month, you have to do the math because the antennas aren't free. TV Antenna approximately $40.00, WIFI Antenna $400.00, Cell Phone Antenna/Repeater approximately $200.00. You have to look at your monthly savings in my case it was worth every penny, to get rid of those monthly bills.
