We moved to Del Ray Beach from Palm Beach Florida. The one thing we were missing is a Cabo Flats, and now they have one here. Cabo Flats is a Mexican Tequila bar. The bar is also a club with a dance floor and restaurant. We are a part of their VIP program. We get some awesome specials and promotions, so we are there all the time. Besides, we like to go and dance and eat, as well as, drink. Simply going somewhere to drink is depressing for us. We like a total place to have a good time for a few hours, and then we can decide to eat and then hit the dance floor, or the other way around. It is always a full crowd, so we are not embarrassed to have a good dance. Because of the set up in other bars that bill themselves as clubs too, the dance floor makes it seem like we are too close to diners. They have curbside service and they cater parties and special events, but I think it would be best to have the event, in place. They can handle the flow. We sometimes visit the restaurant for the party, and return for their brunch the next day. We have their famous huevos rancheros, but they have these skillet meals that we have been getting lately. They have a steak and egg skillet and a skillet with potatoes, eggs, sauted onions and jalapenos, cheese and bacon. Yes, they add cheese, and bacon. They have the traditional poached eggs, but at Cabos, it is called eggs on a horse. The jalapenos make sure that it rides in too and with a particular purchase, they have endless mimosas and bloody marys. They also have hash made from carnitas, and it is the thing for the morning after a party night. However, Cabo Flats is a Tequila bar. They have over one hundred selections and we have not gotten to but a few. All the blancos are very reasonably priced and most are ten bucks or less, but the Patron Grand Platinum is close to fifty. I love the wild shot Mezcal. In my opinion, I could stop there, but they have some extra anejo tequilas that are in the fifty-dollar range too.
